CANADA, June 2022 — Maggie Giles, the author of the acclaimed novel The Things We Lost, has signed her third book Wicked to Alexandria Brown at Rising Action Publishing Collective. 

Up for publication in Fall 2024, Wicked acts as a sequel to Giles’ upcoming novel Twisted. Wicked’s foreign rights are represented by Betty Anne Crawford at Books Crossing Borders and its TV/Film rights by Katrina Escudero at Sugar23. 

The gripping thriller explores the conspiracy surrounding a strange and mysterious prescription drug. With three overlapping POVs and a mission to find the drug’s creator, Wicked questions if there’s a right way to punish someone who has wronged you. 

Maggie Giles is a Canadian author living in Collingwood Ontario. With a love for all things creative, she has been a member of the Women's Fiction Writers Association since 2014 where she works as their Social Media Director. She is currently developing her second novel, Twisted.
